Partly for its' civility but primarily for outstanding substance - this is by far my favorite thread. I think it has been particularly outstanding over the last several days. Kudos to all for your contributions.

The folks who post here have been consistently more polite and tolerant of differing points of view than most other threads - anywhere. That's true. The viewpoints differ because the objectives are different.When I look at a stock like AMAT I look at it from a covered call perspective. Brian like to consider what a stock will be 18 to 24 months down the road., while others are looking 2 to 5 years out. I would think that most of the posters on this thread have no compelling need to prove that they are right. We are all just trying to figure out how to stay ahead of the game using different metrics.
