everyone blames the houses when they lose, but the very same "houses" did the very same things when everybody shared in the wealth effect of the bull run......which of course diminished via individual greed and disbelief of a down trending market....over confidence decimated the "nouveau investor", who believed in the "new metrics" and disconnected from the reality of business...

investing is a risk, speculating as many have done and are still doing,is an extreme risk....

no different then going to a casino, understand the odds, limit losses and always, always take your money off the table at the first opportunity...double down strategy great when you are hot or lucky, but when the table is cold, all is lost...

need to understand the "rules" and "risks", take personal responsibility....wealth isn't accrued and held based on actions of others or faith....solely on the individual who can grasp the concept of capital preservation and limiting risk...
