Emergency FED meeting...

09:56 ET Fed Rumors : Some trading floor sources attributing market recovery to rumors of an emergency Fed meeting. Though rumors of emergency Fed meetings are almost a weekly event, actual emergency meetings are extremely rare. Nevertheless, the talk is getting some mileage today.

Lets hope they are more than rumors! The Fed is still way behind the curve in lowering rates, IMO.

Best Regards,

<<So this notion that I can't make money going long in this market is bullshit>>

I hope I didnt say, or imply that.....I may have said I have no idea how you do it and maybe you could rub me for good luck, but I never doubted that you were doing well......I'm sorry, but it fascinates me that you get the gains that you do in a falling stock....you are right...it takes discipline and patience and is very risky, but you seem to do it very well. If you set your stops tight, and buy the dips, dont be greedy and run with your profit quickly, I can see how you do well with it. Not me though....I seem to get burned every time I buy calls. It is hard to preserve capital when you have calls selling for $16 and after hours the stock tanks..next day your calls are selling for $8.......do you take your 50% haircut or wait for a rebound? Well, I always wait for a rebound and 99.99% of the time, it never happens and my calls go to $hit.....anyway, thanks for the response.....this is a nasty market. I am trying to stick with my strategy, but I need the market to cooperate a little bit<ggg>

Thanks
