>>"The measure to which we, as Individual Investors, LEARN TO CONTROL fear and greed is the measure tto which we improve as investor / traders."<<

Unfortunately, learning to control fear and greed is not as simple as riding a bicycle. It is more like mountain climbing. For those who are very dedicated, it can be done; but for a majority of individual investors/traders who may also have a full-time or part-time job (I've no statistic, just assumption), this is a daunting task.

>>"And THAT is the dynamic that I believe will one day figure in and put an end to the "search for capitulation." If it hasn't already done so."<<

Ever since the tulip mania, the majority still haven't learned to control fear and greed. IMHO, it will always be part of the stock market landscape. For each one who learned to control, there will be ten more newbies coming to the market trying their luck. Thus, my opinion is that there will never be an end to the "search for capitulation."

The good news is that for those minority who managed to control fear and greed, there are a LOT of money to be made.

Cheers!
