Phil;

Yes, we have been in a nasty bear market. Will we know if the bottom has been reached? Yes, long after it has passed us. I'm not sure if it's over, but I'm not about to be out at this point. I feel we are in a very deep and very short "V" shaped recession that will be nearing bottom within months. The action in this sector seem's to be predicting this to me. ..At what time do you switch over and who you listen to to switch?

Best Regards,
John Stewart

ps. Maybe I'll start paying attention to Fleck when he get's rid of that 70's hairdo :')

Well, by that reasoning if we knew *when* to listen to them, then there wouldn't be any point in listening to them at all, would there? I.E., if we knew when the broken clocks were right, we wouldn't need the clocks.

Pundits like Abby Joseph Cohen and Fleckstein simply fill their respective niches in the market for economic information peddling. They rarely change their tunes, they simply are paid to be the perpetual bull/bear voices. If they didn't already exist, the financial media would create them. A pox on both their houses, and saints preserve us from listening to either one of 'em!

JMHO.
