the petrochemical refining industry has been in a secular uptrend recently from my vantage point.
refineries have been running at near full capacity, for a while. and margins have picked up.

their were 37 refineries closed in the US in the 1990's and not a single new one built. But I'll agree that the
Houston economy is relatively strong. I am seeing some softness in housing.
