The Weinberger pardon is the perfect example of why the chief executive was given the power to pardon in the first place. By wielding it, Bush short-circuited the politically motivated harassment of an innocent government official.

It is totally consistent with his revealed character, for Clinton to cite his twisted version of this wholesome case to excuse his own loathsome abuse of the power.

Even more incredible, he attempted to drag George Washington into his moral marass too.

the pardoning of Weinberger was totally above board,

pointing to George Bush's pardon of Caspar Weinberger
LOL, It's the clown parade in full outfit. Weinberger should be sitting side by side with the latest FBI spy in prison. It doesn't really matter how many papers Murdoch pays to have these lies printed, that is still all they are and they will be seen as such.
