In early 1997 ($350 gold) Vronsky wrote a supply-demand essay that "proved" gold was going over $400. I respectfully pointed out a few differences I had, a few corrections, mentioned gold production was going up fast, and concluded that $300 was much more likely than $400. Let's just say I was not invited to write an essay for publication.

I had a similar experience with a Bill Murphy of Veneroso Associates in early 1998. He was very exicted and bullish about gold based on the conclusions of Frank Veneroso's work. I respectfully disagreed, wished him well in his investing and his new website Le Metropole Cafe. I don't know how much he invested or how much he lost, but someone with a very similar name is involved with some type of lawsuit ? Got Another Theory Amigo ?
