KLP, I didn't have a whole lot of respect for Jimmy Carter while he was President, but came to like him a lot, after he left office. It is a damned shame that he waited, until it was too late, to say anything about the disgraceful antics of Clinton. Too little, too late, from him.

YES, like many here have said Carter had character. I did not agree with all of his policy, but I had a basic respect for him as a man.

I would have expected nothing less from him.

There are some Democrats who are real men (and women).
