Mindmeld, the reason bambs, Monty, myself, Bill Fleckenstein, etc and the other bears don't like Greenspan is for a completely different reason.

We fault Greenspan's policies from 1995-2000 and his prominent role in the creation of the bubble. That policy, in short, was a massive credit bubble and easy money policy reminiscent of the US in the 20's and Japan in the 80's. The .5 rate hike is meaningless, the bubble would have burst anyway, just not as soon.
