Yes, and that's the whole point. The U$D is a CON-fidence game. A strong dollar policy without the the promise and protection of intervention doesn't inspire CON-fidence.

Mine is thrice the duration with lows down below 80... with highs near 120... so using the beginning price we have a 50% move to get back to the lows.

Yes I see the chart. It didn't occur to me that the "recent" move in the U$D you were referring to might go all the way back to 1992.

So you're saying a move back to 100 would be met with mere grumbling? That's a 50% of the move from 80-120. Or 50% from here? What level?
