So right. Although the main purpose for the post was to highlight the economic impact on Intel in the early-mid 80's, it is important to review how Intel has responded to business threats in the past. Weathering rough seas is not new to the company. Newcomers to this market could believe that the current circumstances are new to Intel. This is far from fact.
