When did you start talking like Prince Valiant's alter ego?

Ever since I watched Monty Python and the Holy Grail (again) last week. In fact, King Arthur (Graham Chapman) uttered those very words, "Good Sir Knight".

As for a Bentley, well in all seriousness, I'm thinking about a vintage car, perhaps an Austin Healey 3000 (a less-than-fine example, of course -- that way I'll drive it, rather than be concerned about preserving it). Come to think of it, I've already got vintage cars. I drive an '86 Toyota pickup and the old lady gets around in a '91 Volvo. I've already done the German thing (4 Porsches, including a fairly nice '64SC and my favorite, a ratty old '62B Cabrio). Had a '72 Alfa (great exhaust note) and a TR4A which I did a lot of work on .

Riddle me this: Why do the British drink warm beer?
Answer: They've got Lucas refrigerators.

Before I jump into a 60s Healey, though, I'll have to check to see how they run on what passes for gasoline these days. The '64SC had just about the highest compression engine Porsche ever made and it needed tetraethyl lead. Badly.

I already splurged today on a new Polar heart rate monitor for those special cardiovascular moments. $39 plus tax. And they say we're in a recession.<g>
