How dare anyone come in and start investing just like that without having his hand held by a "financial adviser"?? That is EXACTLY the feeling that I get whenever I attempt to discuss the plight of the Individual Investor with Market Professionals. They hold contempt for the "retail investor" public. Some pros are right here on these message boards. . . spreading their lies and propaganda, but would never admit it. [The SEC has rules against financial professionals posting on message boards under false pretenses.] It will be a pleasure working together toward gradually leveling the playing fields. . . . over the coming years. . . little by little . . . as the Individual Investor finds his collective voice. Let's just hope that Leavitt leaves us with a worthy successor, who follows in his footsteps. [If you haven't already written letters to this effect, now would be a great time to do so.] Thanks, Rande Is
