it has nothing to do with that......any high pe stock is being brought down. simple as that....

Me, I'm actually getting kind of excited. I have never seen sentiment so bearish.....prices so cheap and gonna get cheaper....I figure, maybe if I play my cards right I can make up for some of last years losses by being a buyer on the other end...the bottom. I mean, I lost alot of money last year....but if I have the chance to buy some awesome companies at some very cheap prices, then maybe, just maybe, over the years, I can overcome this disasterous last year.....anyway.....it's getting very intersting and I will be a buyer at 2000........I may regret it, but sometimes a man has got to be a man....or in my case, an idiot must remain an idiot<ggg>

loffy...."brcd/ntap/street understanding"

possible you are not reading the street reaction correctly....street is not reacting to a correlation between ntap and brcd, but more a parallel between high pe/valuation stocks, with underlying companies that may not maintain a perceived growth rate.....

when the future gets cloudy, the forward vision blurs regardless of sector....and with no knowledge of what lies ahead..................safety is sought...

better to avoid that which is in a down trend, until a bottom is reached and a basing begins....."easy money" that tom hoped for in his extr buy/write, can get a bit soggy as it plunges underwater....i hope that tom, and any who believe that easy money is attainable in downward momentum issues, can recover some capital....

good luck
