Interesting. Now that would be a twist. QCOM writes off the G* investment, etc. and continues to make phones that are not being used. You don't really think that Q would book additional sat phones this quarter as revenue...would you? THAT would be bizzare.

This discussion is making me uncomfortable. I need this.

Of course the optimist would say, well, G* will succeed and this is just getting ready for the explosion in subs! LOL!

My recollection from the Q conference call was that going forward it would only accept cash
for sale of G* phones. In that case they could not continue to "financial engineer" as you suggest.

You also point out that some prior quarters eps seem to have been inflated. Do you have an estimate
for how much in cents and in what quarters? Knowing this will make comparisons for this year's quarters
more meaningful.
