So you'd like to see high fuel prices to force people to buy small cars. You must be into pain. You also aren't running for office. Right, its really painful having to drive a regular car instead of SUV. You accuse Scumbria of being wedded to his SUV but its beginning to sound like its actually you. I'd still like to see the US increase capacity, just so as to not be as dependent on OPEC.. I kind of like controlling my own destiny. We will always be dependent on OPEC so long as we are dependent on oil. The best the ANWR can do is keep the status quo, offsetting production declines in other Alaskan wells which have maxed out. Conservation may be the only way to save our butts....now don't get upset..its really not that bad...you can have your SUV on weekends. ted
