spiral3: The link for historical downloads ONLY offers 'closing' tick data. My experience has been that the lowest tick for the day normally is not the closing tick. On big selloff days lots of shorts cover into the close & drive the tick up. I've seen huge selloff days end with a tick of +1000. In my experience, the lowest tick has normally been in the mid-late afternoon. I have seen -1600 many times & -2000 a few times. The lowest I can remember is either -2100 or -2200; I just can't remember for sure. I'm absolutely sure I've seen -2100, tho.
