Jacob,
My fear at this point is that nasdaq will get to close to 2000 not to go through it. These thousand numbers when crossed produce additional selling that usually costs another 100-200 points. I was looking at the cisco predictions and the average is 20-25% lower, excepting bams. Will 2000 on the downside be last years 5000 on the upside--piereced and then a reversal? I am hoping that we will not have to lose this additional 20-25% on nasdaq to get this reversal but we may have only a day or two to reverse here before we head toward it. An exigent event like a rate cut, or some bit of good news, or market ignoring more bad news could change things. Mike
