The problem with Cramer is that his attention
span lasts a nanosecond, so if something lasts
1 to 2 years, it becomes ``secular.'' Secular
is the bear market in which gold has been for the
last 20 years. Bottom line: he diagnoses the
current situation correctly, but as usual he has to
dramatize everything to make himself interesting.
The man is a buffoon. It would also probably be
indelicate to remind him that 18 months ago there
was no greater cheerleader for the trashiest
.com stocks than him. At least Landis was picking
(and is picking-- Cramer conveniently ignores
that Landis identified other consumer trends
like DVDs, flat panel displays, etc) real companies.
