Yes, to a large degree that is true, and the powers that be have much to fear if the bear market lasts much longer. Far too many people got into the stock market when they had no business doing so, and many of them bought near the top of the bubble..... The Fed will have no choice but to keep cutting rates in my opinion, even if that fails to turn the stock market around. It may turn out to be a no win situation, but if they stop cutting rates the recession will turn out to be even worse, and there is even a chance a depression (god forbid) could occur. So I'm keeping my fingers crossed here and hoping for the best..... Yogi
