The CPI yesterday contained a double whammy. First it said it was up which is bad, then it said natural gas
caused it, which should have been good for CHK. Then one of the writers tried to downplay the report, which
was futile, by saying that natural gas prices were coming down, which is bad for CHK.

CHK timed the earnings report about one week too late.

Consistant selling north of $6 last fall, probably stock from options granted near the bottom. This was overhead resistance as the stock rose. If you look at the yahoo profile, it says this selling totals 1.6 million shares.

Note- I bought CHK at around $5 before it dropped to $1, then sold as it breached $8. I'm happy they are doing well, and I made a profit, but this insiders clearly had the inside track- low risk, salary and a nice profit.

Kip518, Nothing has changed my opinion yet. Natural Gas demand looks to grow more than supply for awhile. Summer utility demand will be kicking in for gas turbines. Actually in PA probably had some of that already with the high temps we had. More comfortable weather (70's) today. Oil prices aren't bad either from an investor's view.
