Euro is a possibility. It's clearly undervalued relatively to the dollar. Japan's market is approaching 15 year lows once more, and their companies still dominate many technology areas. Gold is also at generation lows and, for many, still represents value.

I remember vividly the 70's inflation and what triggered it: a sudden rise in energy prices.
