i've already got a load of calls... if i recall correctly, trin is an index vs breadth measurement.... the indexes are being liquidated and the broder mkt bouncing... that's a crash recipe. and it will show up as a super oversold condition using trin, thus that indicator fails... just as breadth failed thru-out the 1998-1999 meltup where breadth crashed and the indexes soared
