ABUY - deal with CISCO + pending stock dividend

AmeriNet Becomes Cisco Partner

BOCA RATON, Fla., Feb 21, 2001 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- AmeriNet Group.com, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: ABUY) ("AmeriNet") today announced that its has been appointed as a "Cisco Partner." Pursuant to the terms of its agreement with Cisco Systems, Inc. (Nasdaq: CSCO), AmeriNet has become an authorized reseller of Cisco products and systems.

Cisco currently controls approximately 65% of the Internet routing equipment market and has already shipped new routing devices capable of sending Internet traffic at rates of 10 gigabits per second, four times its previous capacity. The devices use interfaces known as "OC-19," the latest speed barrier for networks. Current customers using the Cisco 12410 and 12416 include Sprint, AOL Time Warner, and ATT. Cisco's new routers feed into a strategic thrust to marry the Internet, or IP technology, with optical network technology. It is also set to disclose new technology based on its highly successful Cerent acquisition, intended for smaller telecommunications companies.

Commenting on the association, AmeriNet president, Edward C. Dmytryk, stated, "AmeriNet is delighted to join the Cisco product sales family and looks forward to becoming a part of Cisco's long-term economic growth strategy. While we note that the market for Cisco equipment has suffered during the last year due to the general decline in Internet infrastructure enterprises during fiscal year 2000 and acknowledge that Cisco has predicted comparatively slow growth during fiscal year 2001, we strongly believe in Cisco's long-term strategy and the prospects for growth averaging 50% per year over the next five years. We have discussed marketing options with management of Wriwebs.com, Inc., one of AmeriNet's current subsidiaries and PriMed Technologies, Inc., a corporation with which AmeriNet is conducting acquisition-related negotiations, and each is very interested in joining with AmeriNet in marketing Cisco products."

AmeriNet is a publicly traded holding company, which files periodic reports with the Securities and Exchange Commission. It has offices in Ocala and Boca Raton, Florida. In business since 1964, its management has expertise in finance, acquisitions and securing growth capital for emerging companies in the medical, Internet and hi-tech fields. Its subsidiaries currently include: Wriwebs.com, Inc. and AmeriNet Communications, Inc.
