Erick,

The link to the Microsoft piece wasn't working due to a temporary glitch at the Fool. I haven't read their latest report (available only by subscription), but I am aware that a couple of quarters ago Microsoft had only 1% growth from internal operations depending upon the definition of internal growth. All of the concerns expressed by lots of people here about Microsoft's sustainable competitive advantage (or rather, the lack of it) in the post-PC era remain a yellow flag for me.

BTW, I'll be on vacation next week. Scuba diving in Curacao if you must know. Actually, this is a 20 year delayed gratification trip. I took scuba lessons 20 years ago, but between being a broke student and intrinsically a dull person, I never actually went diving. This time fer sure! I'm looking forward to this one!

Best
Erick

Hope you're taking a refresher course. The equipment has changed in the last 20 years (as your equipment has!)
