Mr. rogermci...i recommend the 10K you want to wage...you take the money and short the heck out stocks like ONIS..BRCM..CHKP..AEOS..PMCS...NTIQ...KREM..and other bloated pigs, you will be sitting in an ocean of PROFITS...i think Anthony's forum is to promote ideas about investing, both on the long and short side, so all of us can profit from that. It's not to get into challenging each other...right now, the market is the biggest challenge we have to deal with.. You may be a LONG but look at the reality... corporate profits are not going to get better anytime soon...too much fear on the market....stagflation threat looming...greenie is an old fashioned banker and he cares less what the markets do....traders are forcing NAZ down to get a rate cut from greeenie. I am not backing down from your bet...but i rather spend my time wagering the market rather get into personal wagers...like it or not...you will see NAZ 1700-1800 by April-May time frame....and we are not far off....i am sticking to my target...we will get there.

Roger , I'll take your bet.ok I'll put up $ 500 bucks that NASDAQ hits below 1951 before April 15, 2001 if it doesnt you win, if I win you owe me a 6 pack of Diet Coke. anthony I think it further dies and sinks to the abyss for a period of 2 years..but that is another story and bet.
