Yes, but today's situation has one added and hugely significant bonus: there is only nominal physical gold around, and suspicions that gold is being returned by producers to the BD's. Add to this brew my theory that maybe, just maybe there is a rerating of the credit risk on the lending transaction between CB's and BD's in process. There are dozens of catalysts in place right now for lift off.
