This may sound bizarre, but my longs are actually net up today. I still have a heavy bias toward old industrials like AA, but even some of my techs are up, like CSCO, AMAT, DELL, ADCT. Not strong buying in the cyclicals yet, but something to watch (AA, IP); strong buying in cyclicals usually leads a market rebound by a day or so. Might be the result of the LEI, which is saying 'no recession,' BWDIK. Hope you got some EMC at 34; the bargain didn't last long.
