JRI: Its still a question of relative valautions between the S&P and the NDX. There is more resistance to selling on the S&P vrs the NAZ because the gains in the same time frame have been smaller.

Besides, as the S&P is closer to the Consumer, the effect of interest rates is more transparent and proven. While you may well be right, I feel the S&P could hold a trading band whilst the NAZ makes a bottom.

Its priced in alright. You think the market's stupid? The economics follow the stock market not the other way around. If the Dow didn't drop, tells me a lot about the true future of those companies.
