some pretty dire warnings are routinely issued prior to deleting the most worthless stuff.

I guess so, unfortunately for me I don't know when to differentiate between the "worthless stuff" and the "real thing"! Glad to know that you guys are around for help.

Okay, Mr. Mark, regarding "useless stuff", a specific question for you guys. How do I stop SI from sending me their daily "Silicon Investor Market Summary"?

I clicked on the report to add it my Outlook Express Address Book. This told me that the SI email address was:

SI_Daily_MS@announce.siliconinvestor.com

So I can go to tools in Outlook Express - message rules - and add this SI e-mail address to blocked senders list.
