There is zero optimism about this quarter -- but that is the amateurs view imo. You might be right about this being drawn out, but the market really is a discounting machine. People who have been around will tell you this: "always buy cyclicals when they have high pe's and sell them when they have low pe's, because, they are cyclical and the only time they have a low pe is at their peak earnings, which is when you sell them. There will be buying at these levels despite the prospects of some pretty hi pe's --- tech is cyclical.
