Good news. We get good news every friggin day. One small peep from an analyst suggesting that competition within WCDMA might not be good for QCOM is totally insane. The market is going to be too big for QCOM to handle. I'm counting on that very point. INTC TXN & Prarie Comm will be necessary for WCDMA to explode into the hundreds of millions and billions of users. The might Q cannot handle the global market share for UMTS on it's own. But they will receive royalties on all the network equipment for the WCDMA networks and handsets.

Who cares about big volume on big down days. To me, that is one of the most obvious ways to determine a blowoff bottom. It is totally stupid to buy stocks when they go way up on big volume. The converse is true on the way down. Look for support & try not to get sucked into new positions until they make new lower lows.
