Arthur Leavitt, Feb. 21, 2001 That is EXACTLY what I have been saying here over and over for more than a year now. The Individual Investor needs a voice in Washington!! I am appalled at our learning earlier this morning that we have never had one! A book by Leavitt, which points out the injustice is just what is needed. We'll have to order a few cases of those books. Again, I say. . . It appears that Leavitt is actually interested in spearheading, [if not just founding] an Individual Investors lobbying group of some sort, after leaving the SEC. Sort of makes me wonder why he REALLY chose to leave the SEC. Perhaps he had had enough of the politics that favor the street.
