You say that but do you have any empirical evidence that the quality of education is indeed tied to pay. One would think that there is a link, but why do countries with far lower pay scales have better schools; why do the private schools do a better job when they on average have lower pay scales. Have you even bothered to check to see if the private school you send your children to,pays its teachers better than comparable public schools. Where is the link between pay and quality of the school?
