Japanese Hammer bullish signal may be in evidence here and there
for the NazComp and key tech stocks
its signature is an immediate sharp drop after the open
then a recovery in midday
followed by a close at/near the open
the hi/lo/open/close tick on a chart resembles a "hammer" with handle

also, EMC warned
and SunMicro might also after the close
who the samhill is left?
EMC has typically served as final harbinger prior to a lift

Afternoon CAtechTrader,

Agree with your assessment on AMAT, INTC, and Q versus JDSU and EXTR. It's amazing that a stock like Q while basing, is still quite volatile trading from the 60's to 90's how many different times?

Later,
Joel
