A.L. "They will if and to the extent cash is received in payment; they won't if just shipped on credit."

LOL!! What ever happened to the days when Company A would put Company B on Credit Hold and not ship them "Anything" until Company A received their "payments" from Company B?? Must be the New Economy.. After all, what's 600 Million between friends..

One problem for Qualcomm is that G* constituted 30% or the revenues for QWS last FY. Or 216 Million Dollars.. Omnitracs is a mature business..

In addition.. In FY 2000 Qualcomm signed a total of 16 New Subscriber Equipment Licensees, 5 Infrastructure Licensees, and 4 Test Equipment Licensees. For a total of 25

So far in FY 2001 Qualcomm has signed a total of 8 New CDMA Licensees (Spirent, EAnywhere,Axxestel, TXN (Cross License), RIM, GBase, Qualified, Cyberlane (a spin-off of Hyundia)..

They have also invented the "3G CDMA Expansion License" whatever that is!!! I remember that IJ stated in early 1999 that all current CDMA licensee's would be "licenseed" for 3G WCDMA,etc.. Now, they make a Big Deal of it as if it is "a new license".. Look at the Company, EAnywhere.. The got their CDMA subscriber license on Nov. 20th, 2000.

Then 12 weeks later.. It's time for a New "Expanded" License.. (Do you really think they paid anything additional)?

qualcomm.com

LOL.. Why didn't they just get the expanded license 12 weeks ago? But, it makes for nice "Press Release Fillers".. Of course the next new "license for EAnywhere" will be the "coveted" "CDMA Modem Card License"..
