Morten Lauridsen is very much alive and well, so there, Choosie, plllzzzpppppp.

And he's using poetry by Rainer Maria Rilke for lyrics in some of these songs. They're in French, which is pretty but indecipherable. Rambi claims the CD is a Requiem, but she is a shameless prevaricator.
