YEs. Manufacturers will be squeezed on margins for sure. Stagflation does not bode well for MMM but who knows, maybe if he electric prices go high enough, everyone will switch to "Post-It " notes...

Agreed, when I saw the Dow was ramped 100+ points in 15 minutes beginning at 3:30, I immediately looked to MMM (and IBM, as they are the 2 highest priced stocks in the Dow and therefore the "usual suspects" for ramp-age). To my surprise, it was still down for the day. Might be a good one to target after the next rate cut, especially if the dollar remains strong to the end of the quarter (as it was supposed to be in the tank by now, enabling export oriented cos like MMM to improve their revenues).
