Continue muttering <g>.

My guess is that if Sun is hurting, Intel is probably having problems as well. Intel could be gaining share, but I would rather have heard Sun say that servers were selling like hotcakes. Another pipe dream, in this economy.

Right on the money. We may come to an end of the SUN spin machine ---

"Believe me, it's the U.S. economy -- that is the major factor here," said Ed Zander, Sun's president, in a conference call with analysts just after Tuesday's market close.

"We're bullish internally," Zander said. "If you're in the server business, you don't want to compete with us in May or June. If there's a server deal out there, we're going to get it."
