MOST OF what you say i agree with. but along with the theft and transfer of wealth from the middle class to the upper class (isn't that waht the republicans want afterall), the stocks have to rebound. Some time, some where, this will end and those who held on will be reap the benfits. The question is how long are the Houses and the government, etc. let this go on before reaping the benefits of their own plan?

jmanvegas, Wow! That was some post.

OK..I am now really really really comfortable calling the Naz bottom.<g>
The market movements were just really strange today in heavy volume. Something is up.

Have you seen the amount of negativity? Have you seen many or any fund manager lately recommending CIEN, JDSU, JNPR types of stocks? Its value, value, value.
I am now convinced more than ever that the patterns of the past will repeat themselves. What happened to all the money the companies made in the last 2 years and their stock prices are down to old levels..the money has to be somewhere. Growth stopped but what happens to stock prices when it resumes against easy comparisons sometime early next year. Just a matter of time.

True if one is on margin or has options, it is risky but for any investor to call this the bottom is a safe enough bet looking out 1 year or so.

I changed my rate cut thesis..last post for reasons listed. My logic is basically that of Bill Gross of Pimco..aggressive cuts but to not appear to be supporting the market.

Cramer has been wrong..recommending banks that are tanking. He just got lucky last year.
----------------------------

OK..Lets just hope for the best. That is all we can really do and hopefully make the right decisions.

JManvegas, your post was unique and right on target. I agree on your thoughts on manipulation, and George W. to a degree. Them Wall street bastards will sell their mothers for a buck, however, even those greedy pricks must buy back at some point. George W.'s performance today seems to validate what Nostradamus wrote in 1555 and that was.....

Come the millennium, month 12, in the home of greatest power, the village idiot will come forth to be acclaimed the leader.

I have taken a sizable hit with my tech holdings in the twilight of my life, and will attempt to rebuild from this point forward. Never trust day flippers or shorts and bandits. My initial foray into JDSU was in the mid 70's, and my last was in the low 40's. All longs will have their day in the sun!!

Respectfully,

Dana Adams

Just listen to yourself, your own head, your own heart. Because the "times - they are a changin."

A new investment analysis tool: Meditative Analysis (MA), a totally unwired, introspective technique which ignores all information outside the mind of the investor.
