Last time I checked Turkey was going for .49 cents a pound carcass and all.

Turkeys recent currency devaluation and economic inflation could trigger a monopoly effect in Europe, too early to see how this will spread. However, there isn't a lot of great news from an economic stand point out there. Having lived in Tokyo, London and now Ottawa, believe me, the eyes of the world are watching the US for leadership and from the guidance the biggest companies are passing on, things are progressively getting worse. Greenspan will have his work cut out for him while confidence is also at recent lows. Yes Turkey is worth watching, another piece of a global puzzle with no happy ending in sight.
