Line between the Fed and the Treasury blurs with the appointment of Fischer as undersecretary.... otherwise known as Mr. Liquidity...the brains behind why two kay, ltcm bailout, and a pro-active player in the liquidity vs. market game.....Fischer comes from the Ny Fed...to the job. MSDW will take on Lucent's stressed out debt offering and then trade it back to them for IPO shares of their spin-off, some of which will then be sold during the IPO.... got double plated printing press?? Meehan on the front page of the C section today...saying down along with a focus story on the spread of malaise to the s&p, just two points shy of the down bear 20%..... got calls?
