Weak parent. I cannot understand why some shun confrontations with their children. Granted, you pick your battles, but this one is a major! Because they want them to be their friends. Kids have many friends but only two parents. I'm not saying that I don't want to be friends with my kids, I just think parenting needs to come first. Then, when they've frown up, friendship means more to both of you. Society seems to have forgotten what a parents is. One who begets, gives birth to, or nurtures and raises a child; a father or a mother. An ancestor; a progenitor. A guardian; a protector. A source or cause; an origin PB
