Scumbria,
Don't worry, there will be plenty of time to bash Bush.
I'm not too keen on the extra $100 billion for Star Wars.
Are they even sure it will work?
The more probable thing is a terrorist attack delivered by smuggling in a weapon. The money might be better spent defending our borders...but the military doesn't get the money for this. It's all about who creates the most need to get the money to flow to them...then it's hard to cut it...

Jim

Scumbria Re..I hate to break the news to you, but Clinton is history. Clinton bashing is out.<<<<

Tell that to MSNBC. They have been bashing Bill and Hillary for 6 straight hrs. Gates must really be pissed. Now he finds out he could have bought his way out. Who needs lawyers? Yea, I also think he is history. Its one thing when your opponents hate you, its worse when your friends hate you, but when you wife comes out and ditches you; you can kiss it goodby.

I have noticed an interesting change in Bush the last week. he has quit talking about his stupid tax cut, and has started talking about education and the debt.<<<<<<<

That is because Bill is introducing his education and medicare additions before the budget next wk.

Maybe he has decided not to turn his presidency into a train wreck after all? Maybe he wants to succeed? <<<<<<<<

Whoa, what is this from a democrat. Blasphemy. I see you are doing what I have been suggesting. Give him a chance. Then criticize. It sounds fairer that way.

Scumbria, <Maybe he has decided not to turn his presidency into a train wreck after all? Maybe he wants to succeed?>

This is the most "praise" for Bush I've ever seen from you. Now THAT'S scary! ;-)

I've heard that Madonna find Bush more "offensive" than the rapper Eminem. One of my coworkers remarked that Bush must be doing something right!
