I couldn't be more skeptical of this faith based stuff. Government involvement will ruin the good organizations and reward the crooked ones. I'm afraid it's doomed to fail.

I hope events prove me wrong.

Exposing them for the shams they are doesn't mean that they would not qualify as religions and still get funding.

Some or all of the religions I mentioned must be wrong; yet all would qualify, I believe.
