Keith, Respectfully, it is apparent that you have not been following the discussion here at HOME. Consequently, you are unaware of how unaware you are about such matters. Well I have to disagree. I came across this post while doing a search regarding another issue. I did not have to read all the prior discussions to offer an opinion on lobbying for individual investors. Anytime someone begins a sentence with that phrase it shows closed mindedness. . . and lacks vision. Well I think it takes vision to realize that a lobbying group will not help the individual investor. The government will not meaningfully address the key issue, which is information sharing not available to the general public. Instead, in an effort to be responsive, they may offer legislation to "protect" the individual, which in all likelihood will be restrictive, or at best useless. If you disagree, instead of attacking me, please tell me what is the single most important change you would lobby for and tell me how that change would be enforced to the benefit of the individual investor.
