Dave, Rambus had more tier 1 vendors shipping RDRAM-based systems on the first day. Sure they did. That i820 launch was a huge success. We are all morons here, and we believe anything you say. Scumbria

Gene's link didn't work for me and I'm only answering the direct posts at this time -- so I don't know what Compaq's ship date is). This link still works. athome.compaq.com BestBuy has the Compaq DDR system in this weekend's newspaper insert. As for availability, both Compaq and BestBuy show these as "Build to Order". (Compaq shows delivery of March,8 on a customized system). Also of interest, all of the Compaq systems come with PC2100, (or DDR266 at BestBuy). How's the vacation going? The drop-off in posts from Orlando indicates you're getting into the vacation groove. <g>
