Prez historian Richard Shenkman (http://www.booknotes.org/transcripts/50508.htm) said yesterday that the last Prez that sold pardons like Clinton was - believe it or not - the only other impeached Prez!!! Yes, Democrat Andrew Johnson sold pardons on the front steps of the WH after his impeachment. Actually, Shenkman said that Johnson had his son's girlfriend sell pardon applications on the front steps for $50. Another $50 was due to the Democrat when the pardon was granted.
