Totally amazed

I am stunned at how Dr. IJ's statement that the W-CDMA rollout might be delayed was spun by the Finacial Times and others into "Qualcomm Warns of Delay . . . ." That W-CDMA might be delayed should not be news, and it is certainly not bad news for QCOM if the alternative for using expensive European spectrum is 1x.

Query: Is another way to play QCOM shorting the European banks that had their heads up their bottoms when they loaned all that dough to the GSMers without a defined roadmap to 3G? Which Euroland banks are most exposed?

Does anyone see any weakness in the fundamental that CMDA2000 and 1x work and W-CDMA is merely planned?
